These are great ideas! An additional idea you may want to use with your poems could be to give the student a copy of the poem, then give then an additional copy of the poem with the lines mixed-up for order. I use this at CENTERS and they have to cut out the lines and correctly put the poem in order by reading and then illustrate. Works great!
Great idea! I think I will start doing this with my kids, I have noticed them needing something just a bit extra to do in the poetry center. Thanks for the great idea!
