My name is Michelle Spatafora and I am a kindergarten teacher in Maryland. I am originally from the Chicago area and moved to Maryland in 2005. I have my bachelors degree in early childhood education with an approval in early childhood special education. I am a proud graduate of Western Illinois University! I recently obtained my masters degree in early childhood education in September 2008. I currently work in a Title I school and most of my students are second language learners. My next project in National Board Certification where I will be working toward my certification as an early childhood generalist. I love learning and cannot get enough of it. Education is one of the most important things in my life.
I currently live with my husband Dan and our three pets. A dog, Wrigley and two cats, Caly and Jr. We love to travel and spend time with friends and family. I also enjoy scrap booking and writing. My favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs! Dan and I recently took a trip to the Dominican Republic and are looking forward to visiting Mexico again in August. We are looking forward to relaxing on the beach!

I have found some really great resources here on your website. I teach kindergarten in Texas. I am wondering if you also use Technology in your classroom.
