Kindergarten Math Centers

Link by Link Measuring Center:Student use links (math manipulatives to measure common classroom objects.

Line and Cube Predicting/ Measuring: Place  numbered peices of tape around the classroom (1-10.) The students predict and measure these lines using cubes.

5 Colum Pet Graph: Students cut out the title of the graph and glue it on the top of the page. They then color and cut out the animals and place them on the graph. Students use the graph to practice asking other students the question/ name of the graph, they then color in the squares accordingly.

How Many Colors Can You Count?: Create 9 baggies labeled with letters A-G. Place 6 bingo chips in each bag, each bag should be different and have a variety of colors. Students record the letter of each bag on the recording sheet and color the recording sheet accordingly.

Lunch Box/ Toy Box Sort: Laminate all pieces for this center. Students will sort pictures by the box they go in. This could also be used by students taking the pictures and gluing them onto the appropriate box.

Apple Concentration: These 0-5 cards can be laminated and used in a concentration game. The students can also color, cut, and glue them to make pairs, we do this when we are teaching matching sets and numerals.
