My name is Michelle Spatafora and I was a kindergarten teacher. As of last year I decided I needed a change and am now teaching first grade!

I am originally from the Chicago area and moved to Maryland in 2005. I have my bachelors degree in early childhood education with an approval in early childhood special education. I am a proud graduate of Western Illinois University! I recently obtained my masters degree in early childhood education in September 2008. I love learning and cannot get enough of it. Education is one of the most important things in my life.

I am married and have two awesome daughters.

We love to travel and spend time with our family in the Chicago area. In my free time I enjoy working out, reading, and crafting.

Some of the items on my page I have created, most I did not. If I did not give you credit for something please let me know. We do a lot of sharing in teaching and sometimes I might not remember where I found an item! This website was created to provide examples of what I do in my classroom. I have borrowed many of the pictures from Google images. These are not my pictures. I did not create them and I do not own them.

I recently srated selling some of my own items on Teachers Pay Teachers.

Please email me: if you have any questions!
